WELLNESS PROGRAMS
A journey within, introspection, solving problems, setting behavioural patterns and unravelling the mysteries of the world – mark the beginning of spirituality. RAAS Wellness retreat lets you do just that. Help you in your journey to access the subtle layers of the mind, and slowly unfold them.
RAAS Yoga at RAAS Chhatrasagar is a retreat that embraces the full spectrum of yogic living – combining asanas, pranayama, meditation, Shat Kriyas, and a sattvic diet to promote deep healing and holistic wellbeing.
Rooted in the classical Yoga Sutras, this practice nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. It promotes muscular relaxation, slows the breath, enhances willpower and creativity, and brings clarity to the intellect. On an emotional level, it cultivates joy and inner calm. Ultimately, it awakens the innate divinity within, guiding you toward balance in every aspect of life.
Whether you’re seeking physical vitality or mental peace, RAAS Yoga offers a path to both: a union of good health and a sound mind.
As the Katha Upanishad says, “Tam Yogamiti Sthiramindriyaa Dharanam” – Yoga is the steady mastery of the senses and mind.
The Yoga Vasishta defines it as: “Manaha Prashamana Upaya Yoga Ithyabhidheeyate”– a subtle, skillful method to calm the mind. Yoga isn’t about forcefully stopping thoughts, but about using the right techniques, at the right time, with awareness. Where effort alone may lead to frustration, yoga offers intelligent tools to guide the mind into stillness and clarity.

When the body becomes lean, the face glows, the eyes shine with clarity, appetite improves, and vitality is preserved, these are signs that the Nadis are purified and success in Hatha Yoga is near.
Classical texts describe the early signs of yogic awakening as lightness of body, robust health, clarity of mind, radiant complexion, sweet voice, pleasant scent, and reduced bodily waste.
The Yoga Retreat at RAAS Chhatrasagar guides you towards this inner harmony, tuning body and mind to the infinite self, where transformation arises through your own willpower and discipline.
WELLNESS CUISINE
A subtext of the Vedas, Ayurveda literally “the knowledge of life” is the world’s oldest wellness system. Unlike modern medicine, it focuses on balance and prevention through mindful living rather than cure. At its core lies diet, where every food is treated as medicine, meant to be consumed in the right season, at the right time, and in the right proportion.
Ayurveda teaches that we are made of five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether – manifested in unique combinations as Doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Health is simply the balance of these.
Just as important is taste – Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Pungent, and Astringent, which influences both body and mind. Our thoughtfully crafted Ayurvedic menu brings harmony to the Doshas and joy to the senses. Eat well, knowing it’s designed to nourish and heal from within.
